I think a game like the flash helicopter game would be catching on the site. but on each stage/level you have to read about the school and answer questions to move on. I don't know how wed do it but we could design in and all that jazz just not actually be able to do it for the blog. the design could be posted on the blog and receive comment and changes about the design including an inventive competition or something like that???? would work someway:)

I like this blog site as its fun. (and only for girls!)
The layout it quite simple, you have a picture, with an explanation or atleast a paragraph to tell you what the picture is displaying, which i think is quite helpfull if you want the information to know about the picture. The diagrams are clear, and you can see them well, and also there are links which you can click on to take you through to another menu, which has more information about another type of product or company selling a simular thing.
If this site were to be improved, i would add more colour to it, and make it more vibrant and bright, as i dont really like the dullness of it. also, i would make the writing more funky, but still able to be read, otherwise if there were too many fonts, the writing would be difficult, and the blog site would become unpopular.

I think that the observer blog was ok it had some good points such as it was easy to read and had bright colours and pictures to intrigue you but it also had some bad points like the fact that the writing was too small and the homepage was a bit too long, it could have had more hyperlinks instead of a long home page.
They could have made the font bigger and more user-friendly and thought about the lay out a bit more so that it looked like less of a job to read it.

* I think that the blog has been designed appropriately as it contains everything that a website or blog about a company/organisation should. It has a logo and a clear title, showing you where you are. The information is neatly organised into paragraphs and the links are bold and easy to see. You know which links you can follow so you can search new things. There is also a small search box for you to navigate around the web, which is helpful as you don't have to go back to a search engine to get anywhere.
* The section headers show clearly what you are reading, so you can easily find certain articles. There is also a date so you know how old the articles are and you can then go on to find out the reliability of the information supplied. There are also photographs so the information is made clearer and you have something to look at as well as read.
* Something that I don't like is how plain it is concerning colour scheme. The main colours are black, white and blue and these colours aren't that appealing when put together. When I look at it, personally it feels formal and uninviting. I don't like the contrast. In my opinion, the more colours the better as long as it isn't too dazzling. When I look at sites, bright colours and patterns attract me so I think that that would be a good thing to add.
* Also, towards the bottom it's just reels and reels of information and it isn't too fun to look at...or read.

The observer The background colour on this website is good because it is white and easy to see the hyperlinks to different pages, unlike in the radio head blog where it is black and unprofessional.
It is also eye-catching because the design is simple and easy to read from. The colours are also consistent throughout the page.

At our school we work hard then play hard. we use english to the best of our abillites and put it into practise it in the playground. we get our pupils speaking like shakespere because we feel he is the best person in the world that is grammatically correct. We aim to acheive level 7's in english in year 7. Our best student in y11 is currently working at level 9 which is the highest in the world.

This school literally is the best place to study English and judging on the opinions of many of our pupils they seem to have the same feeling. most of the activities in English at our school involves a range of many activities covering many aspects of normal day life. Did you know many students who leave this school like English so much because of the creative learning we do, they get a job that involves many English skills covered from Y7 upwards. We have had many letters from parents thanking the English department after getting such amazing levels in there English exams that end there GCSE.
We also have an ofsted report on how well the englih department cover all areas of english in such a short period of time but still get there pupils a really good level more than 3/4 of the pupils get a level higher than expectation.

My school is an extraordinary one and if you knew it's name, you'd make assumptions based on reviews you've heard. I wouldn't want that to happen. This school has really helped me. In fact, it's saved my life. When I was walking home from the supermarket one Saturday afternoon, minding my own business and with not a care in the world, a man pulled up in his car and dragged my into the boot. He held a gun at my head and said to me that he would kill me if I couldn't spell onomatopoeia and describe accurately what it means to him in a minute. Quickly I replied "O-N-O-M-A-T-O-P-O-E-I-A. It means a word that sounds like a sound that it is describing." The man was impressed and let me go. I ran off home. The school really helped me as we covered everything thoroughly and I knew it all by heart. I was really proud to say that this was my school. The school's environment is really good and the facilities available to us are second to none. The opportunities to use these facilities are always there as the school thrives knowing that we are doing our utmost to maintain the good reputation and standards of the school. The positive atmosphere and the sheer politeness of the students makes this a classy working environment and pupils look forward to coming here in the mornings. The start is early but we aren't thrown into work, we are calmly explained our work for the period and we get on with it at our own pace. Our school is the best. English is so fun hear. We learn while having fun. And did you know last year all the students yes 100% passed their English exams. The teachers are absolutely marvellous. We learn a load and all our grades has gone up by at least a level in the last year. Hear out our school the facilities are great.

Its easy to study as they have plenty of facilities such as... a library section just on English. They have a quiet room just for revising. After-school on 3 days they have sessions to have a good time to study. Its basically an extra lesson but you can go if you want and stay as long as you want. Here they go over most topics and you can learn a lot.
