webcameron (Charlotte Stringer)

1. Mr Cameron has a profile on face.... because he wants to get frineds so he can have alot of supporters when he tries to become an MP.

2. I think he thinks that people will be appealed to him online, is the fact that he has a profile picture. And also he has alot of supporters, which is totalled up to 3359 people.

3.I do and i dont think this is a good idea, this is because he could come across as being abit "in your face" which could put people off from voting for him. Also if he seems to plastic, like he is everything, this will certainly put people off from voting him as a new MP.

Sure Girl (Charlotte Stringer)

1.They are trying to sell you Sure, which is a type of deodrant for girls.

2.Their target audience is teenagers, and even women. Its a deodrant for all girls to be honest.

3.The design ideas are that they have used pink, its bright and vibrant. It also has girly pictures on of the new sure advert, with the logo.

Bee boo Marketing (Charlotte Stringer)

1.In the top right hand corner of the Bee Boo Home page, its has an Advertisement with some Emoticons on. These emoticons are used for either MSN messenger or either Btinternet, these two are both types of emails.

They look quite disguised to a point that they look fun, colourful, and non advertising, apart from the fact that when you look closely at the top of the box, you see it says in small writing "advertisement." <-- this gives it away.

2.They are advertising eBay also. This is a large website which allows you to buy, sell, and look around. It is entising as eBay is so cheap. Its also colourful, and quite small, so it isn't quite as apparent but you can still see it if you take alot of interest in the website page.

3.They are advertising Big Brother 9, saying for you to "enter here". this could be because that the new big brother could be you in it. Its not that apparent as it just has a picture of Davina on it with an eye.

NME.COM Marketing (Charlotte Stringer)

In the picture of the NME website, there are 6 things which they are entiteling you to buy. Here they are.:

1. Is where on the right hand side is a company called Carling, they are advertising their Beer.

2. At the very top right hand corner is a Advertisment which is trying to get you to buy the Fratellis new album called "Here we Stand." Which is out on the 9th of June.

3.(second page) There is a advertisement showing you an animal in a little box behind bars, its animal cruelty and the company are wanting you to donate money to help them stop it from happening.

4.The NME Store, which is selling t-shirts and jumpers, which all have famous names on them, example "red hot chilli peppers, blonde etc.

5.The Gigs and Tickets collum, showing you the new performances coming out, and when, and if the tickets are available still.

6.Kopperberg, its a type of cider, hiding inside the music section, which makes it looks less apparent. This is all part of the advertising industry, trying to hide their products tomake them look not there (almost!)

I think a game like the flash helicopter game would be catching on the site. but on each stage/level you have to read about the school and answer questions to move on. I don't know how wed do it but we could design in and all that jazz just not actually be able to do it for the blog. the design could be posted on the blog and receive comment and changes about the design including an inventive competition or something like that???? would work someway:)

Paper and coloured card ???

FW:

http://fashionblog.dailymail.co.uk/

This web id good because it shows information and tells you the latest fashion.

FW: whats good and whats not.

http://buzzworthy.mtv.com/category/celebrity/timbaland

Good Points~~~~~~~~~> Lots of Information on loads of celebrities

~~~~~~~~~>Colourful and has pictures
Bad Points~~~~~~~~~~> Mostly just writing
~~~~~~~~~~>Bit Boring

FW:

http://www.whoateallthepies.tv/

Two good things about the website is:

  • That all the latest news about players, team and transfers are on it.
  • That there is a fan zone so fans can put comments on.

Two bad things about the website are:

  • That the fan zone is not very easy to read.
  • There is a bit to much information.

FW:

http://www.fashionblogsite.com/

I like this blog site as its fun. (and only for girls!)

The layout it quite simple, you have a picture, with an explanation or atleast a paragraph to tell you what the picture is displaying, which i think is quite helpfull if you want the information to know about the picture. The diagrams are clear, and you can see them well, and also there are links which you can click on to take you through to another menu, which has more information about another type of product or company selling a simular thing.

If this site were to be improved, i would add more colour to it, and make it more vibrant and bright, as i dont really like the dullness of it. also, i would make the writing more funky, but still able to be read, otherwise if there were too many fonts, the writing would be difficult, and the blog site would become unpopular.

FW:

http://www.footiedb.com/champions-league-final-manchester-united-vs-chelsea-highlights/975/

good thing:

1. its about man u

2. its very informative

Bad things:

1. bad colour choice

2. the page is a bit dull

FW:

I think tht the blog could be a bit more simple and so that you could understand it more.

But then i think more pictures could be nice

Also colours!

Every interesting thing should have colours and look like it is coming from a happy place!

FW:

I think that the blog done by the observer is good but it is a bit long and the page is abit plain

and simple i would just look at the pictures but this blog would appeal to

the people who read the news paper just not me.

I like the logo and the pictures so it is and ok childhood altogether!

FW:

I think that the observer blog was ok it had some good points such as it was easy to read and had bright colours and pictures to intrigue you but it also had some bad points like the fact that the writing was too small and the homepage was a bit too long, it could have had more hyperlinks instead of a long home page.

They could have made the font bigger and more user-friendly and thought about the lay out a bit more so that it looked like less of a job to read it.

I did like the background and eye-catching logo though.

Well done observer this really targets the audience (boring news readers) and would probably appeal to them :)

FW:

I like the links to the football videos.

I also like the links to all the latest football news.

http://www.whoateallthepies.tv/

To be able to write more freely about your feelings in the blog.

Create a blog to talk about gossip going on in the football world.

what's good and what's not

The three main things when I go on computer are msn, bebo and YouTube. on bebo it is good because you could check people's profile. the good thing about msn is you could chat to your mates and the good thing about YouTube is you could watch videos and listen to music.

http://john.jubjubs.net/2008/05/13/mozilla-firefox-data/

All the interesting blogs were filtered, so I used this one

Good things:

1. It is informative and useful

2. It has a clear design structure with hyperlinks to all the important things you might not know about that is mentioned

Bad things:

1. It could look a little more interesting, it is quite bland

2. It is quite hard to understand for someone new to it

Work :D

http://blogs.guardian.co.uk/observer/

* I think that the blog has been designed appropriately as it contains everything that a website or blog about a company/organisation should. It has a logo and a clear title, showing you where you are. The information is neatly organised into paragraphs and the links are bold and easy to see. You know which links you can follow so you can search new things. There is also a small search box for you to navigate around the web, which is helpful as you don't have to go back to a search engine to get anywhere.

* The section headers show clearly what you are reading, so you can easily find certain articles. There is also a date so you know how old the articles are and you can then go on to find out the reliability of the information supplied. There are also photographs so the information is made clearer and you have something to look at as well as read.

* Something that I don't like is how plain it is concerning colour scheme. The main colours are black, white and blue and these colours aren't that appealing when put together. When I look at it, personally it feels formal and uninviting. I don't like the contrast. In my opinion, the more colours the better as long as it isn't too dazzling. When I look at sites, bright colours and patterns attract me so I think that that would be a good thing to add.

* Also, towards the bottom it's just reels and reels of information and it isn't too fun to look at...or read.

Good points

1.one good thing is the amount of information given in the blog.

2. the information is good and goes into a lot of depth. u get to know who he is and what they are doing because it is broken up into sections

Bad points

1. the could be to much information there to read all at once

2.the information is sometimes pointless

http://www.forbiddenplanet.co.uk/blog/

Good:

1.This blog is good because the pictures are good and there is good writing to go with them.

2.The information is good and isn't just stupid stuff.

Could be better:

1.The page is narrow and too long, it could be stretched out a bit more.

2.The blog is all on one page and could be linked onto different ones.

http://sethgodin.typepad.com/seths_blog/

1.Its is a very good layout.

2.There is a lot of information

Bad points

1.It could be more eye catching e.g Pictures, colour, then text.

2.Alot of information at once, sometimes could be pointless.

What's Good and What's Not

http://blogs.guardian.co.uk/index.html

1. Two things which are good about this website is that:

  • It has a list of links to take you straight to different topics you want to view so it is easy to find.
  • Under the title of the topic it also includes a brief description on what it is about and includes.

2. Two things which could be improved about this website is that:

  • They could put a small thumbnail next to each title so you can see a picture to attract you.
  • Make it more exciting as it looks dull with the colours chosen and they have used a simple basic design

Whats Good And Whats Not.

Good Points~~~~~~~~~> Lots of Information on loads of celebrities

~~~~~~~~~>Colourful and has pictures
Bad Points~~~~~~~~~~> Mostly just writing
http://blogs.guardian.co.uk/observer/
* I think the design layout is nice and clear but also easy to find your way around.
* It also tells you lots of information about new things and gives the time and date these happened.
* It isn't that well presented in that it isn't very attractive and a bit boring.
* It is just a page full of writing and does not look very appealing to readers.
1.The good things about the website is that the writing stands out and that the writing is a good size and is easy to read.
2.The things you could improve is there could be more pictures with the writing at the start. Another thing you could improve is the plain colours.
The style of the website is that it has sections and different people debating about 2012.
http://www.london2012.com/blog/index.php
WHATS GOOD AND WHATS NOT
I think the two things that are good about the blog is that it is set out in paragraphs and it is easy to read.
The things that are bad about the blog is that its all the words are mixed half in capitals half in lowercase and it doesn't look nice.
The two things that i could improve are the design, make it more colourful and a bit more attractive. Also need to make it a bit more exciting so people would like to read it, and make sure it doesn't get boring.
whats good and whats not
http://blogs.guardian.co.uk/observer/
The observer The background colour on this website is good because it is white and easy to see the hyperlinks to different pages, unlike in the radio head blog where it is black and unprofessional.
It is also eye-catching because the design is simple and easy to read from. The colours are also consistent throughout the page.
The blog could be improved by including more images and separating the paragraphs out more clearly to make it more clear. The hyperlinks should decrease in size so there isn't so much to look at.
Look at this mint logo. its very eye-catching.
